Getting involved is easy with ParentPay

We’ve made donating and getting involved with Childhood Day even easier this year. Use the Frequently Asked Questions section below to discover more!

There are multiple ways you can accept donations for Childhood Day. The easiest is by card through our Donations Page.

We recommend utilising our free* Donations Page, as any funds raised are settled directly to the NSPCC, making the process easier for both you and the charity. Additionally, through a ParentPay Donations Page you can also collect Gift Aid on donations, helping to boost your fundraising by up to 25%.

If you wish to, you can also create your own payment item in ParentPay in order to collect donations. Please note that this will require you to settle funds with NSPCC directly, using the information available on their website.

The simplest way to securely accept donations via ParentPay is by using our Donations Page. Free of charge* for all schools raising money for Childhood Day, this Donations Page is unique to your school and accessible from any device or computer. So, all you need to do is get in touch to tell us you’re raising money for Childhood Day and leave the rest to us.

Note: Applications for a FREE* Donations Page close at midday 04/06/25, but there are other ways to collect donations if you are a ParentPay customer, please note that this will require you to settle funds with the NSPCC directly.

ParentPay do offer an alternative to Donations Pages which our support team can take you through if you contact them, however, our secure and easy-to-use Donations Pages are what we recommend for collecting donations, due to their ease of use and additional benefits.

Funds raised using the alternative way would be dealt with separately from funds raised via Donation Pages and will require you to settle funds with the NSPCC directly.

As your Donations Page is bespoke to your school it typically takes up to 5 working days to set up. Our Support team will send you an email with the link to your custom Donations Page as soon as it’s ready. Simply share this link with parents, carers, staff, and students to start collecting donations right away.

Note: Applications for a FREE* Donations Page close at midday 04/06/25.

All Donations Pages for Childhood Day will cease taking donations 27/06/25.

Any donations made through our Donations Page are settled directly to the NSPCC. Say goodbye to counting cash and posting cheques!

Please note donations received using a payment item will be settled to your school bank account and you will need to transfer these donations to Childhood Day yourself.

Yes, parents can easily add Gift Aid for any Childhood Day donations made through the ParentPay Donations Page. They simply need to tick the Gift Aid box at check-out.

Our reporting function means you can easily export details on donations, including the total amount from your ParentPay dashboard.

If you are not currently a ParentPay customer, your donation report will be available after your page has been closed down on 27/06/25.

How to report on your Donations Page

NSPCC will receive 99.25% of your donations for Childhood Day.
