Wellbeing

The commitment, talent, energy, and creativity of our people is what drives our success.

They are at the heart of our business and their health, well-being, and professional fulfilment is fundamental to our future as an organisation.

Supporting the wellbeing of everyone who is part of the ParentPay family is important – not only because it’s the right thing to do and we care about our colleagues, but because good wellbeing contributes to creating a working environment where we can all perform to our best and fulfil our potential. It’s good for us as individuals, it’s good for the organisation as a whole, so it’s also good for our customers.

Living Wage Accredited

In March 2021 we became an accredited employer with the Living Wage Foundation and joined a movement of thousands of organisations, businesses and people, across the UK, who believe that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay. The real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate that is voluntarily paid by almost 9,000 UK businesses who believe their staff deserve a wage which meets everyday needs – like the weekly shop, or a surprise trip to the dentist.

Private Medical Insurance

Private medical insurance (PMI) gives you quick access to private facilities and treatments. It helps pay for any high, unexpected private medical bills you may need covered. This could be anything from physiotherapy sessions, to major heart surgery. PMI also plays an important role in funding the early diagnosis of critical conditions.

Specsavers

Eyecare vouchers for staff – each voucher entitles the employee to a full eye test and up to £69 towards selected glasses.

Lifeworks

Our 3rd party hosted, on-line 24/7 employee assistance programme which all our employees have access to from day 1.  This on-line portal gives free, confidential access to the latest help and advice on a wide range of topics

Cycle to Work scheme

Cyclescheme is an employee benefit that saves you 25-39% on a bike and accessories. You pay nothing upfront and the payments are taken tax efficiently from your salary by your employer.

Thrive at Work

We are working in partnership with West Midlands Combined Authority to gain our “Thrive at Work” accreditation. Thrive at Work is a workplace commitment with criteria and guidelines on creating a workplace that promotes employee health and wellbeing, focusing on key organisational enablers of health such as attendance management, policies and procedures in addition to health areas such as mental, musculoskeletal and physical health and promoting healthy lifestyles.
