This year, to mark 2025, BBC Children in Need is inviting schools across the UK to “Challenge Yourself to 25”, a fun and flexible way to raise money that makes a real difference to children’s lives.
ParentPay is proud to be an official fundraising partner once again, making it easy for schools to collect and manage donations safely and seamlessly for the seventh year in a row. Last year, over 2,000 schools took part in fundraising for BBC Children in Need with ParentPay, raising over half a million pounds for this vital cause.
Making fundraising simple, secure, and meaningful
Together with BBC Children in Need, we’re helping schools bring the Challenge 25 campaign to life. Whether pupils are baking 25 cupcakes, running 25 laps, or holding a 25-minute dance-a-thon, schools can set up a free online donations page with ParentPay.
It’s a quick, cashless way for families to get involved, helping every penny go straight to BBC Children in Need, without the hassle of handling coins or counting cash.
A partnership built on shared purpose
Since 2019, ParentPay has supported schools and families in raising funds for causes that matter by partnering with BBC Children in Need. This year’s activity continues our work to make a positive impact together, supporting projects across the UK that change young lives for the better.
BBC Children in Need is one of the UK’s most beloved and recognised charities, funding thousands of local projects that support children and young people facing a range of challenges. From improving mental health and wellbeing to ensuring access to education and safe spaces, the charity works year-round to make sure every child has the chance to thrive.
By taking part in Challenge 25, schools can inspire pupils to get active, creative, and compassionate, all while learning about the power of community and giving back.
Claire Hoyle, Chief Campaigns and Engagement Officer at BBC Children in Need, commented: “We’re thrilled to be powering up our partnership with ParentPay once again to raise funds to support children and young people all across the UK. As one of our key partners within schools fundraising, last year ParentPay helped facilitate a fantastic £600,000 in fundraising from schools across the UK who got involved to raise money for Children in Need through the ParentPay platform and free donations pages.
We are so grateful that so many schools have already signed up to support us once again through ParentPay, where donations can be made easily and accessibly. Every donation no matter big or small will go towards supporting young people to thrive and be the best they can be. We are enormously grateful to all the schools and families who get involved year after year to raise money for the charity. Thank you all.”
