NSPCC’s Childhood Day: Together we can keep children safe

13 May 2025

As the UK’s leading children’s charity, the NSPCC works tirelessly to protect children, prevent abuse, and support families through life’s challenges. ParentPay Group has long shared that mission of building safer, more supportive environments for young people, both in schools and at home.

We’re proud to announce the continued partnership between the NSPCC and ParentPay Group as we join forces once again to support Childhood Day 2025, a national moment to stand together for children and help keep them safe from abuse.

School fundraising plays a vital role in the success of Childhood Day 2025, helping to raise both awareness and essential funds to support the NSPCC’s work in protecting children across the UK. Taking part in these fundraising efforts can also be of great value to young people, by allowing the opportunity to open up important conversations, and empowering them to take action for others.

Speaking of the continued partnership to support this year’s appeal, Katie Fudge, School Fundraising Manager at the NSPCC shared:

“We’d like to thank ParentPay for their ongoing support of the NSPCC’s Childhood Day. By providing schools with a simple, convenient way to donate, they help us raise vital funds and reach even more children in need. Their continued commitment strengthens our ability to be there for every child, ensuring they grow up feeling safe, supported, and heard. Together, we can make an even greater impact—thank you, ParentPay, for helping to make this possible!”

Following the success of previous collaborations, our 2025 partnership plans aim to reach even more families, schools, and communities through awareness, fundraising, and action. Together, we’re calling on schools, parents, pupils, and the wider community across the UK to get involved with Childhood Day on Friday, 6 June 2025. Whether by hosting events, taking part in fundraising, or simply starting conversations about child safety.

To make the process even easier, we’ll be offering our customers the chance to have a free ParentPay Donations Page to fundraise for Childhood Day 2025. With the ability to collect donations from parents, carers, staff, pupils and the wider community, fundraising for this year’s Childhood Day will be easier than ever. Plus, the option to add Gift Aid on to all eligible donations can help to boost fundraising by up to 25%, helping to support the NSPCC and their goal to help keep children safe.

ParentPay Group Chief Executive, Lewis Alcraft, said:

“We’re honoured to continue our partnership with the NSPCC for Childhood Day 2025. Together, we can empower schools and families to make a real difference for children, and we’re proud to be part of that change.”

Childhood Day is more than a fundraising campaign, it’s a chance for communities to unite and protect every child’s right to a safe, happy childhood. Stay tuned for more updates on how you can get involved, and let’s make Childhood Day 2025 the biggest and most impactful yet.
