Clint Wilson, CEO talks to The Sunday Times about his life and ParentPay.
ParentPay Chief Executive Clint Wilson was interviewed by Laura Onita, journalist for The Sunday Times business section, for her regular feature, “How I made it”, which profiles successful business leaders and tells their story.
Clint speaks about his education and life before taking the helm at ParentPay; from packing Ryvita snacks as a student in the summer holidays while studying his A-levels at his local comprehensive school in Dorset, to realising he wasn’t cut out for the life of a Forensic Scientist.
Instead, Clint pursued a passion and career in technology and finance, a decision which led him to roles in the city and then ultimately to ParentPay where he joined founder and ex-teacher, Lynne Taylor at the end of 2004.
Reflecting on the last 12 years, Clint looks back at how ParentPay overcame the challenges of creating the cashless payment market for schools to become the secure payment choice for millions of parents across the UK.
