Terms & Conditions for the ParentPay Whitepaper Survey prize draw

  1. Entering the prize draw: All entrants who have submitted their email will be entered into the prize draw, and three winners will be randomly selected to receive the prize.
  2. Entrants who have submitted their details after the deadline of 3rd December 2021will not be considered.
  3. Employees or agencies of ParentPay Ltd, their group companies or their family members, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw may not enter the Prize Draw.
  4. Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
  5. Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
  6. The survey and results are completely anonymous, unless you enter into the prize draw – entry to the prize draw by completing your contact details, these will be connected to your responses to the survey. We will only collect the details that you provide, and will not collect IP address details under any circumstances.
  7. Three winners will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will be performed by a random computer process.  The draw will take place on 3rd December 2021.
  8. The randomly-selected winners will receive an equivalent prize dependant on the type of organisation for which they work:
    1. School – £100 donation to their school.
    2. Multi-Academy Trust – £100 donation to their Multi-Academy Trust.
    3. Caterer or other organisation – £100 donation to a charity of their choice.
  9. ParentPay Ltd accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize (e.g. warranty, replacement, or repair of prizes).
  10. The winners will be notified by email on or before 3rd December 2021.
    1. If the winner/s works for a school, they must notify their headteacher and gain their consent to receive the prize before the prize can be administered.
    2. If the winner/s works for a Multi-Academy Trust, they must notify their Chief Financial Officer (or equivalent) and gain their consent to receive the prize before the prize can be administered.
    3. If the winner/s works for a Caterer or any other organisation, they must notify their finance department (or equivalent) and gain their consent and details of their chosen charity to receive the prize before the prize can be administered.
  11. If the winner/s do not respond to ParentPay Ltd within 14 days of being notified by ParentPay Ltd, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and ParentPay Ltd shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 14 days or else they will also forfeit their prize).  If the winner/s reject their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and ParentPay Ltd shall be entitled to select another winner.
  12. The prize will be sent to the winners’ school/Multi-Academy Trust/chosen charity directly.
  13. To protect the privacy of our winners, ParentPay Ltd reserve the right to not provide the winners’ names or personal information to any individuals not involved in the organisation of the Prize Draw at ParentPay Ltd or suppliers of the Prize.
  14. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
  15. ParentPay Ltd retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.
  16. ParentPay Ltd shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen here, and in accordance with GDPR and EU data protection legislation.  By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage, and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your Prize Draw entry, and for the purposes outlined in paragraph 13 above.
  17. ParentPay Ltd accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Prize Draw or accepting the prize. ParentPay Ltd further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Draw. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of ParentPay Ltd for death, personal injury, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
  18. ParentPay Ltd reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Prize Draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of ParentPay ltd in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  19. ParentPay Ltd shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
  20. The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
