A fully integrated parent communication system

The ParentPay Communication Centre enhances parental engagement, helping schools communicate with parents. The school communication system lets you send emails from school, print personalised letters and send SMS text messages for parents.

The school messaging system is integrated into ParentPay using the same pupil data, payment data and pupil balances. This reduces administration time significantly and makes it quick and easy to send payment requests or debt reminders.

You can send any emails from school and text messages for parents, so you can use the school messaging system for all electronic communication with parents.

There’s no charge for our ParentPay Communication Centre apart from paying for any text messages sent by school, so the school communication system helps save money on software fees as well as printing, paper, postage and admin time.

Flexible and configurable school communication system

Schools can use the Parent Communication Centre to send text messages for parents for emergency closure days, parent evening reminders, to advertise the school production or emailing the school newsletter.

You can choose to print, email, text or a combination of these, depending upon the importance and urgency of the message, helping to minimise costs. Parents can indicate their preferred communication method to schools and can even register multiple mobile numbers and email addresses.

Parent contact details are verified

Messages are easily configured for sending to all parents, groups of parents, or an individual family. You can select to use either ParentPay sourced contact details that come from the parents’ online account, or contact details from your MIS.

Parents can verify their email address and their mobile phone numbers by texting a PIN to their phone. Contact details in the ParentPay Communication Centre are up to date and reliable.

A useful report compares the contact details from parents’ ParentPay accounts with those from your MIS. This helps you decide which to use for sending and reduces administration time helping you keep MIS data up to date.

School can access a range of reports detailing delivery success of messages and a history of messages previously sent.
