Debt clearance (End of Academic Year):  Outstanding dinner money debt will be cleared over the Summer holidays (please refer to the guidance for the date).  The debts will be transferred to a separate payment item to make it simpler for schools to manage debt and give them the opportunity to chase debts from payers.  We advise using the ParentPay Communication area to send debtors a reminder to pay this amount before the end of the Summer Term and then in September to chase outstanding debts. PayPoint cards:

  • Schools are advised to only order PayPoint cards for cash based families.  Cards are not needed if a pupil is receiving Free School Meals.
  • The first PayPoint card will be paid by the LA, but replacement cards will be billed to the school (£1.50 each), this cost may be passed on to the payer at the discretion of the school.  Large orders of cards will require authorisation from Brighton & Hove LA before being processed.
