End of year procedures: Standard ParentPay end of year guidance can be accessed here.
ParentPay offer one to one implementation consultation along with a suite of computer-based training sessions. During your pre-launch phase, you will have access to the dedicated implementation team who will answer any queries you have and ensure you are ready for your launch.
If a group of schools wish to join together to host an onsite training session (minimum 6 schools), then a ParentPay Trainer can come and deliver the ‘Advanced Use of ParentPay’ – the agenda is shown below:
- Setting up school trips and other school activities
- How to use ParentPay for communications:
o Sending letters, texts & emails
- Debt management
o Adding bank accounts
o How to reconcile ParentPay settlements
o Payment reports
- ParentPay Support (including ‘How to help your parents’)
- Q&A session
Schools will need to ensure they have completed the Launch Tasks computer based training modules before this session. To arrange the group training session (please ensure you have a minimum of 6 schools interested) please email email@example.com to arrange this session. Costs for this session can be found on the BTLS portal.
ParentPay User Groups: ParentPay offer free sessions for schools (held locally in Lancashire) to learn about how to make more use of the system and to update schools on new features. Schools will be contacted by ParentPay with session details.
Refresher training: If you or any of your school administrative colleagues would benefit from free refresher training, please contact ParentPay using the online support contact form (below). Please tell us which areas of the system you would like to know more about and we will send you the relevant computer-based training packages.
Please refer to the ParentPay guidance here in the first instance. If you have further queries that you need support for, you can make contact as below.

Please do not give these details to parents as the school support team are not able to effectively answer their enquiries. Parents are asked to report issues via the school who can act on their behalf, or by completing a Parent Support Request, the link to which can be found on the bottom of the parent support page, https://www.parentpay.com/parents/using-parentpay/help-and-support.
