Central income collection for schools
ParentPay helps local authorities manage central payments for schools. Our central income collection for schools helps authorities deliver a groundbreaking, socially inclusive school cashless payment solution. Non-cheque book schools can collect for school meals, school trips and other income.
Our school ePayment system lets parents pay online by debit & credit card or in cash at local PayPoint stores. Cash and cheques can be completely eliminated from the school office.
ParentPay helps you and your schools save valuable administration time and improve efficiency for the school and the authority. It’s a safer, more convenient parent payment system.
Central payments for schools
ParentPay is fully configurable with regards to where income is settled. Every item is linked to a bank account and ParentPay settles funds to the correct account automatically. Non-cheque book schools can have payment banked centrally. Where necessary, income can be split between central banking for schools and local banking.
Detailed central reports
Local authorities can access centralised online reports that detail the income received from each school. Pre-configured account codes help authority staff allocate income accurately using cost centre, ledger or other account codes.
Reports on offer include allocation reports, settlement statements and bank reconciliation reports.
The ParentPay Collection Service ensures best value
The ParentPay Collection Service lets parents make all school payments in one easy transaction even if they are paying for items linked to different bank accounts. Income is automatically split into different bank accounts.
We have an agreement with Visa and MasterCard that allows us to combine payments that are being settled into different bank accounts.
Using the ParentPay Collection Service schools and authorities are saving between 15% and 30% on their transaction charges. Although the same per transaction charge as other systems is applied, you will be charged for fewer transactions because of our aggregation.
