Award winning provider launches fully integrated home-school communications with mail merge,
email and text messaging for improved parental engagement
The ParentPay Communication Centre™ is designed to further enhance parental engagement and
helps schools get more from their ParentPay© platform.
Fully integrated into ParentPay, it uses the existing MIS data held in the online payment
application as well as emails and mobile phone numbers already supplied by parents.
As part of the core ParentPay product licence the ParentPay Communication Centre™
is free of charge for all customers – there’s no additional setup charge or Annual
Service Fee. Schools just pay a low rate of 5.5p for any SMS text messages that they send.
Schools can choose any combination of print, email, or text, depending upon the
importance and urgency of the message, helping to minimise costs and school administration.
It allows schools to send payment requests, up to date dinner money balances, debt
reminders, and information about trips and events.
In addition, schools can use the Parent Communication Centre™ to send messages for emergency
closure days, or even the school newsletter.
Messages are easily configured for sending to all parents, groups of parents, or a individual families.
At the same time, ParentPay is extending its popular ‘My alerts’ feature, so that parents
can now receive automated text message alerts for dinner money balances, or when new payment
items are setup by school.
Commenting Clint Wilson, ParentPay Chief Executive said “The ParentPay Communication
Centre™ maximises the value of the existing MIS and parent provided data that is
held in ParentPay.
“It helps schools get more from their existing investment, further reducing costs and administration
burden for the school, while enhancing the quality and frequency of communication with parents.”
