The education online payment specialist processed over £35m in payments during 2009, an increase of 150% on the previous year
In a record breaking year, ParentPay processed over £35m across more than one million payments during 2009, helping to reduce the money carried to school by children.
2009 saw large numbers of individual schools adopting the award winning solution, while ParentPay
also announced contracts with another 8 local authorities.
Brighton and Hove City Council; Gloucestershire County Council; Kirklees Council; London Boroughs
of Barking & Dagenham, Enfield and Sutton; Northumberland County Council and North Yorkshire
County Council all signed contracts with ParentPay during 2009.
Shortlisted as a finalist for the BETT Awards 2010, and having won the e-Government National
Award a year ago with Croydon Council, ParentPay is proving to be an unrivalled solution for schools
and authorities looking to drive efficiency, cut administration, engage parents online and
create safer schools.
“It’s been an exceptional year with new customer and revenue growth exceeding expectations. £35m is
a lot of money that didn’t need to be collected, recorded, counted, banked and reconciled by
schools.” said Clint Wilson, ParentPay’s Chief Executive.
“Our current growth means we’re likely to be helping schools collect over £10m a month by the end of this year.”
