Business Development Manager

Regions: Cheshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire
Home based with frequent regional travel; Term-time or full contracts.
Responsibilities include:
Approaching schools and local authorities
Providing online demonstrations of ParentPay to schools and local authorities
Visiting schools and local authorities to promote, discuss and demonstrate ParentPay
Your diverse role in this position will involve close working links with our existing Business
Development team.
Working to achievable targets, you will be responsible for managing sales within your region,
making initial contact with schools and local authorities: providing appropriate information
and demonstrations, as well as quotation proposals - following up to gain orders.
The successful candidates will have a background in and working knowledge of a school environment.
An understanding of school financial and administrative processes would also be most relevant
although not essential. Previous sales experience is not essential.
The post requires an enthusiastic team member with great personal motivation and organization.
The ability to communicate professionally while building rapport and credibility, tenacity,
integrity and confidence are all desirable qualities for an ideal candidate.
Training will be made available to the successful candidate as appropriate, although a
reasonable grasp of IT systems and experience of using MS Office and similar applications would
be useful.
Own transport and willingness/ability to travel are essential.
